New Delhi: Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi’s husband Robert Vadra’s difficulties may increase. On the one hand, ED sources claim that Vadra has incorrectly earned around Rs 58 crore. On the other hand, Robert Vadra has accused three late people of scam during interrogation.

Explain that in the investigation of the Gurugram land deal of the Enforcement Directorate (ED), statements were taken twice from Robert Vadra. The first statement was taken on 15 April and the second on 16 April 2025.

Vadra accused three late people of scam

According to sources, these revelations have been mentioned in the charge sheet filed against Vadra. The case is related to Shikohpur land scam. The Enforcement Directorate has filed a charge sheet in the court under PMLA, taking action against Robert Vadra, Satyanand Yaji, only Singh Virk and several companies.

The case is related to the disturbances in the purchase and sale of land in Shikohpur village of Gurugram, Haryana. On 1 September 2018, Haryana Police lodged an FIR at Kherki Daula police station in Gurugram. In this, Robert Vadra, former Haryana Chief Minister Bhupendra Singh Hooda, DLF Company and Omkareshwar Properties Pvt. Ltd. Others were accused of fraud, conspiracy and corruption.

Skylight Hospitality Pvt. Ltd. (SLHPL) despite being very low capital, bought 3.5 acres of land for just ₹ 7.50 crore, while the real price was ₹ 15 crore. The cell deed was falsely written that the payment was done by check, which was never cashed. Mis wrong information was given to save stamp duty of about ₹ 45 lakh. It is alleged that this land was given to Omkareshwar Properties to get a housing license from the then CM in exchange for the impact of Robert Vadra. Later, the land was issued by taking a commercial license, pressing and manipulating the file and was sold to DLF for ₹ 58 crore.

3.53 acres of land showed in application for license

According to the information received, 3.53 acres of land was shown in the application for the license, while there was only 1.35 acres of land for commercial use. The rules were also ignored by including the sector road land. The license process was rapidly completed under pressure from senior officials. What are the assets seized?

ED has temporarily seized 43 immovable properties worth ₹ 38.69 crore, including Bikaner, Gurugram, Mohali, Ahmedabad, Noida and Faridabad land, flats and commercial units. The ED has also added Section 423 of the IPC with several sections of PMLA. If the allegations are proved, 3 to 7 years of punishment and illegal property can be confiscated.
