New Delhi, 07 November (Hindustan Reporter). Great educationist and ideal teacher Dinanath Batra passed away suddenly today on 7th November. Batra ji was the national coordinator of the Save Education Movement and the founder and president of the Shiksha Sanskriti Utthan Trust.

Dinanath ji, who dedicated his everything to education, was born on 05 March 1930 in Rajanpur district, Dera Ghazi Khan (Pakistan) of undivided India. Dinanath Batra, who started his teaching career from DAV School, Dera Bassi Punjab in 1955, held the post of Principal in Kurukshetra from 1965 to 1990. He also held the post of President of All India Hindustan Scouts and Guides. He was also the General Secretary of Vidya Bharati All India Educational Institution.

Dinanath Batra, awarded the President’s Award, was awarded by many institutions for his dedication towards educational work. Batra ji, decorated with many honors like Swami Krishnanand Saraswati Samman, Swami Akhandanand Saraswati Samman, Bhaurao Deoras Samman, made his resolve to establish Indianness in education a nationwide movement, as a result of which India-centric education has been made the basis in the National Education Policy 2020. Has been created. On November 08, from 08 to 10 am, Batra ji’s mortal remains will be kept at the central office of Shiksha Sanskriti Utthan Trust located at Narayan Vihar, New Delhi for the last darshan.
