Efforts for election of National President in BJP intensified, Dr. K. Laxman was made election in-charge by the party, he also got this responsibility.

New Delhi. Bharatiya Janata Party has intensified preparations for the organizational elections. National President JP Nadda has appointed national election and co-election in-charges on Tuesday. The party has made Rajya Sabha MP and party’s OBC Morcha president Dr. K. Laxman the national election in-charge. National Vice President Rekha Verma, Dr. Sambit Patra and Naresh Bansal have been made co-in-charge.

According to party sources, elections for booth level president, state unit and national working committee are to be held by December. According to the constitution of BJP, the national president may be selected when organization elections are held in more than half the states. Sources say that the new national president can take charge after Makar Sankranti in the new year.

Panda becomes election in-charge of Delhi

BJP has intensified preparations for Delhi Assembly elections. National Vice President Baijayant Panda has been made the election in-charge of the state and Ghaziabad MP Atul Garg has been made co-in-charge.
