Bollywood veteran Dharmendra recently spoke on his role in the romantic comedy ‘Rocky and Rani Ki Prem Kahani’ and the popular kissing scene with Shabana Azmi. In an interview given to ANI, Dharmendra told how there was a ruckus after a kissing scene with Shabana Azmi. Dharmendra spoke positively about the beauty approach of the film for romance, especially highlighting the emotional depth of the scene. Directed by Karan Johar, the 2023 film is a great mixture of comedy and romance, with Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt as the main pair Rocky and Rani. The story focuses on their opposite personality and their decision to spend three months with each other’s families before marriage.

Recalling the conversation with his co-star Ranveer Singh in a funny manner, the veteran star said, “I said to Ranveer, in the love story of Ranveer, Rocky and Rani, you have done a lot, or my only one shook people.” He further said, ‘In a way, he (the character of Dharmendra in the love story of Rocky and Rani) was like Devdas, the Devdas who wanders drunk with alcohol does not remember anything, and then he dies. It is sad, and it was a good story. ‘ The ‘love story of Rocky and Rani’ is based on complex mobility between families and cultures.
