Election Commission and Rahul Gandhi got checked.

On Thursday, the Election Commission challenged Rahul Gandhi to either complain about these cases with the affidavit or apologize for misleading the people of the country during the Lok Sabha elections, but Rahul Gandhi argues that he has highlighted the conspiracy of the Election Commission. The Election Commission should investigate or give the soft copy of the voter list and the CCTV footage of voting to the Congress, all the reality will be revealed. Now the question is that if Rahul Gandhi’s claims are in power, then what is the harm in giving affidavits, according to the rule, why are Rahul not complaining with affidavit?

What did Rahul Gandhi allege?

Rahul Gandhi is now claiming that if the Election Commission gives a soft copy of the voter list, he will prove that Narendra Modi has become Prime Minister by stealing votes. The Congress held a vote rights rally in Bengaluru. In this rally, the Congress again repeated all the allegations which they had put in Delhi yesterday. Then asked the Election Commission five questions. Rahul said that the Election Commission should explain why the digital voter list is not being given. Why the voting CCTV footage is being deleted. At whose behest is there being a mess in the voter list. Why is the Election Commission threatening the leaders of the opposition. After this, Rahul Gandhi narrated his judge and said that the Election Commission has become an agent of the BJP and Modi has become the Prime Minister with the help of the Election Commission.

What did the Election Commission say to Rahul?

The Election Commission, according to the rules, is only telling Rahul Gandhi that if you have evidence of disturbances in the voter list, then complain with the affidavit only then only then the investigation will be done. If you do not give affidavit, then apologize to the country for wrong bayani. If Rahul Gandhi has so much confidence in his evidence, then affidavit should be given but he did not give. The Election Commission said that Rahul Gandhi wants a machine readable voter list. For this, the Congress went to the Supreme Court in 2018. Kamal Nath had demanded to get a digital voter list by blaming the voter list. His petition was rejected by the Supreme Court. Now Rahul Gandhi is accusing this. They know that their allegations will not last in the court, therefore, making statements in the media. The Election Commission said that Rahul Gandhi has two options either sign the affidavit or, apologize to the country for making baseless allegations on the Election Commission.

What did Rahul Gandhi answer?

Rahul Gandhi did not give a direct reply to this attitude of the Election Commission. Rahul said that he has sworn in the Constitution, does the Election Commission not even trust the oath of the Constitution. Rahul Gandhi said that he has publicly accused the Election Commission of theft of votes in front of everyone. If the Election Commission is in power, then he too should come forward and prove their words wrong and if the Election Commission feels that it does not do anything wrong, then give a digital voter list to the Congress.
