Electric vehicles will not have to give toll, water taxi facility will be available at this airport
Maharashtra government Approved the new electric vehicle policy on Tuesday. Passenger electric vehicle (EV) will be subsidized under the new policy. Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis said that some EVs will also be exempted from toll. Fadnavis said after presiding over the state cabinet meeting, “The state government has approved the new EV policy, under which the passenger electric vehicle will be subsidized.” Manufacturing and use of electric vehicle should increase. ”He said that charging infrastructure will also be strengthened under the new policy.
Water taxi facility will be available at Navi Mumbai International Airport
Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis said on Thursday that Navi Mumbai International Airport will be the first airport in the country where water taxi facility will be available for passengers. Fadnavis said in a review meeting of the Government-Interested Planning Authority CIDCO that ‘multi-level transport connectivity’ should be set up at Navi Mumbai International Airport. Fadnavis said, “Water taxi facility should be provided at this airport. This will be the first international airport in the country, where there will be such facility. Aircraft repair facility should also be available with good parking facility. Road, rail, metro and water transport connectivity work should be completed on time.”
Emphasis on creating multi-level transport mechanisms from metro station to airport
Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis said, “A multi-level transport system should be made from the metro station to the airport. Citizens should not have any kind of inconvenience in this regard, it should be taken care of. The work being done through CIDCO should be completed within the stipulated time frame.” The Chief Minister said that the quality of those working in residential and housing construction should be high.
