Encounter between Pakistani army and terrorists near Afghanistan border, 14 died
Pakistan Army Outpost
Peshawar: Pakistani security forces have killed 14 terrorists in a campaign based on intelligence in a tribal district bordering Afghanistan in northwest Pakistan. The military media wing has given information about this on Wednesday. According to a statement issued by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), “On 2-3 June 2025, on the information of the presence of terrorists, security forces in Dutta Khel in North Waziristan district launched a campaign based on intelligence.”
Campaign to end terrorists continues
ISPR’s statement said that the soldiers raided the terrorist hideout in the area. After a fierce firing, 14 terrorists were killed. It said, “A campaign is also being launched to eliminate other terrorists in the area. Pakistan’s security forces are working to end the threat of country terrorism.”
Big action against TTP
Let me tell you that recently, at least 41 terrorists of Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan were killed in an encounter during an attempt to infiltrate Pakistan from Afghanistan. The encounter took place near the Bibak Ghar area of the tribal district of North Waziristan. Most of the slain terrorists were Afghan citizens.
Learn about TTP
Let me tell you that the roots of TTP are associated with the Taliban movement of Afghanistan, but this organization has been independently active in Pakistan. It was founded by Betullah Mehsud, who was an influential leader of South Waziristan. The organization is an alliance of many small and big groups. After 2020, TTP has re -united several scattered groups. The organization has accelerated the attacks, especially TTPs such as Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan in Pakistan.
