Police have killed three women Naxalites in an encounter in Balaghat. The encounter took place on Saturday afternoon in the forest of Pachama Dadar of Bithli police post area.
This success was achieved in the joint action of Hawk Force and District Police. SP Aditya Mishra has confirmed the encounter. He informed that the operation is still going on. According to police sources, the number of killed Naxalites may increase.
The police had received information about the presence of Naxalites in the forest of Pachama Dadar. After this the force was sent here. The bodies of the three women Naxalites who were killed in the encounter have been recovered.
4 women Naxalites were killed in February
Earlier on February 19, the Balaghat police got a big success. 4 women Naxalites were killed in an encounter near the Ronda Forest Camp in Kanha’s forest area Soupkhar. These included Asha, Sheela, Ranjita and Lakhe Marawi. They had a total reward of 62 lakh rupees. She was active in Naxalite activities since 2015-16.
Police have killed 4 hard core women Naxalites in an encounter in Garhi police station area of Balaghat. The bodies of all have also been recovered. All Kanha Bhoramdev AB Division Khatia Morcha was the Naxalite of Dalam. Other women Naxalites including commander Asha were also uniformed. Commander Asha had a reward of 14 lakhs.
