England won the 3rd T20i by winning the West Indies clean sweep, docket and the hero of winning
England vs West Indies 3rd T20i Highlights: Ben Duckett and Jamie Smith defeated the third and last T20 Internationals on Monday (June 10) on the third and last T20 International match on the third and last T20 International match. With this, England made a clean sweep to the West Indies 3–0 in the series.
England’s biggest score in home
After getting the first batting invitation, England scored 248 runs at the loss of 3 wickets, which is the biggest score of the English team in this format at home. Docket and Smith together gave a stormy start to the hosts and added 120 runs in 8.5 overs. Docket scored 84 runs in 46 balls, with 10 fours and 2 sixes. Smith scored 60 runs in 26 balls with 4 fours and 5 sixes.
Apart from these two, Jacob Bethel scored an unbeaten 36 runs in 16 balls and captain Hari Brook scored 35 runs in 22 balls.
Sherfen Rutherford, Akil Hosain and Gudakesh Moti took 1–1 wickets for the West Indies.
Powell’s innings went waste
The West Indies got the first blow on the total score of 18 runs, chasing the target. After this, the process of falling wickets started at a small interval. But in the middle order, Rowman Powell tried to keep the team’s expectations alive by playing a stormy innings. Powell scored an unbeaten 79 in 45 balls, hitting 9 fours and 4 sixes. Powell added 52 runs for the seventh wicket with Jason Holder (25 in 12 balls). Captain Shai Hope scored 45 runs in 27 balls and Shimron Hetmyer scored 26 runs in 8 balls. Six players of the West Indies team could not reach the double figures.
