Environment Minister washed Pakistan abroad, narrated a lot about Indus Water Treaty

On the issue of Indus Water Agreement, India has once again heard Pakistan and said that the neighboring country should stop holding India responsible for the cancellation of this agreement. Pakistan raised the issue of Indus Water Agreement during the Glacier Conservation Conference in Dosamba, the capital of Tajikistan. After this, India’s Environment Minister Kirtivardhan Singh showed Pakistan a mirror. He clearly stated that the country that promotes terrorism should no longer be responsible for the end of the water agreement to India.

The high level international conference on the conservation of glaciers is being held in Dusamba from 29 May to 1 June. In this conference, the issue of Indus Water Agreement was raised by Pakistan, which does not have any relation with this conference. In such a situation, it was said from India that the stage is being misused by Pakistan. Its partner is the environment minister that Pakistan is promoting terrorism across the border, which is a violation of the treaty. For this reason, this agreement has been canceled.

Pakistani Prime Minister raised the issue

Pakistani Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif also attended the conference. On Friday, he said that Pakistan will not let India cross the red line and will not endanger the lives of crores of people for political gains. After this, the Indian Environment Minister has given a befitting reply to Shahbaz Sharif. He said that Pakistan is continuously violating the agreement of this treaty by sponsoring cross -border terrorism.

Changes in the terms of Indus Water Treaty are necessary

Environment Minister Kirtivardhan Singh said that it has been clearly written in the terms of the Indus Water Agreement that it should be implemented with goodwill and honesty in a friendly manner. The situation has changed a lot since the time of the treaty. The Indus Water Agreement cannot be maintained due to climate change, technical changes, population growth and continuous cross -border terrorism. India canceled the Indus Water Agreement after the Pahalgam terror attack.
