Every terrorist attack on India in future will be considered as the cause of the Act of War War or the beginning of the war. Quoting the top source of the government, the news agency has said that the government will also answer it in the same manner. This decision has been taken amid growing confrontation with Pakistan after the Pahalgam terror attack.

Earlier on Saturday, Prime Minister Modi held a meeting with Defense Minister Rajnath Singh, NSA Ajit Doval, CDS and Indian Army Chiefs at PM residence in Delhi. This was his second meeting with army chiefs in 24 hours.

How does the government determine the Act of War

The Act of War in India is not a single law, but it is decided on the basis of many laws (Constitution, Indian Justice Code), Defense Act, International Agreement. The Government of India decides which action is the Act of War. The attack on India’s sovereignty and regional integrity is generally considered the Act of War.
