Riyadh: Prince Alvalid bin Khalid bin Talal of Saudi Arabia has passed away after being in a coma for 20 years. His lifeline stopped at the age of 36. Prince Alvalid bin Khalid bin Talal, a member of the Saudi royal family after being in a coma for almost 20 years, died on Saturday at the age of 36. He was known as “Sleeping Prince” i.e. “Sleeping Prince”. His funeral prayers will be performed on Sunday. Men’s prayers will be held in Riyadh, while the women will be followed by the last farewell at the King Faisal Specialist Hospital after Zuhar.
Who was Prince Alwaliid bin Khalid bin Talal?
Prince Alwaleed was born on 18 April 1990. He was the eldest son of Prince Khalid bin Talal al -Saud. Renowned billionaire Prince Alvalid bin Talal of Arabia was his uncle and he was the founder of Saudi Arabia King Abdulziz. He moved into a coma in an accident in 2005. After this, the struggle between life and death continued for 20 years. He was 15 years old when he had a fierce car accident while studying at a military college in London in 2005.
Serious brain haemorrhage was hunted
In this accident, he suffered severe brain injury, brain hemorrhage and internal bleeding, due to which he went completely into a coma. He was then taken to King Abdulziz Medical City, Riyadh, where he was placed on a ventilator and feeding tube. The family enlisted the help of specialist doctors from all over the world, but their consciousness never returned. In 2015, doctors advised to remove the life -saving system, but his father Prince Khalid refused. He said that “life and death are only in the hands of Allah.”
Hope was awake after 4 years
In 2019, he showed some minor acts like shaking finger and turning head, which raised some hope, but his situation did not improve. Prince Alwaleed was constantly under medical supervision for a full 20 years. He was not a straight son or brother of the current King Salman bin Abdulziz of Saudi Arabia, but King Salman was the brother of his great -grandfather, that is, he was the son of King Salman’s nephew.
