On May 11 near Khetoloi village in Pokaran Field Firing Range, 3 Tests were conducted on May 11 and two days later on 13 May and India has also become a nuclear weapons country. The first test was done in 1974
Let us tell you that India first conducted a nuclear test in 1974. The first nuclear test was conducted on 18 May 1974 following the order of the then Prime Minister Indira Gandhi. Indira Gandhi then named the test ‘Buddha Smilee’ and in 1998 the test was named ‘Shakti’.
