Jan Adhikar Sangharsh Parishad had filed a petition in April 2023 complaining against Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman, ED officials, BJP National President JP Nadda, other national leaders of the party, then BJP Karnataka President Nalin Kumar Kateel, BY Vijayendra.
While hearing this case, the court has directed Tilak Nagar police station of Bengaluru to register a case of extortion through electoral bonds.
