Uttar Pradesh News Desk: Farmers have got relief after the arrival of DAP consignment in Sirauli. However, when the work of distributing fertilizer started, arguments started. The secretary of the committee informed the police. In the presence of the police, fertilizer was distributed by forming a queue at the city’s Multipurpose Resource Cooperative Society.
For the last two months, there was an outcry due to non-availability of DAP at the city’s IFFCO fertilizer center and multipurpose resource cooperative society. Farmers were worried. Farmer Rajaram of village Sona and Rajkumar of Dhanaura Gauri told that due to non-availability of DAP, sowing of wheat is getting delayed. Due to this there is a possibility of reduction in wheat yield. Saurabh Singh, Secretary of Means Cooperative Society, informed the people about the arrival of DAP. Hundreds of farmers reached there. Although fertilizer was distributed. During this period, farmers also argued among themselves. Seeing this the secretary had to call the police. After the police arrived, fertilizer was given through Aadhar card. Many farmers started sowing wheat. Deputy Agriculture Director Abhinandan Singh said that DAP is available in sufficient quantity in the district.
Bulldozer runs on illegally settled colony
BDA has started action against those who set up illegal colonies near the farmland and Nakatiya river land. Bulldozer was run on the illegal colony being established near Nakatiya river of Bichpuri. BDA Vice President Manikandan A said that an illegal colony was being constructed without map approval by Phariyom Rathore, Manoj Saxena and Pandit Sunil Dutt Sharma in an area of about 25 bighas on the banks of Nakatiya river in village Bichpuri. The team found site office, road construction and plotting work being done on the spot. Demolition action has been taken against the illegal colony under relevant sections of the Uttar Pradesh City Planning and Development Act-1973. A warning has also been given.
