Veteran actor Kota Srinivas Rao died at his residence in Hyderabad at 4 am on Sunday, 13 July after a long illness. The actor was 83 years old. Srinivasa Rao has spent his entire life in theater and earned a lot of name in Telugu films as well. His death has shocked not only the people of South Cinema but also to the entire Indian film industry. The amazing thing is that in a very short time he made his mark in the industry. Kota Srinivasa Rao was most liked in the role of the villain.

Born on 10 July 1942 in Kankipadu, Andhra Pradesh, Kota Srinivas was from a reputed family, who said goodbye to the world at the age of 83 due to prolonged illness. His father Sita Ram Anjaneyulu was a doctor. Kota Srinivas Rao wanted to follow his father’s footsteps in childhood. But, later he decided to create an actor and he joined the theater to complete his acting passion during college days. Also worked in State Bank. He made his debut in 1978 with ‘Pranam Karau’. He joined the BJP in the 1990s and was elected a member of the Andhra Pradesh Legislative Assembly from Vijayawada seat in 1999. Let me tell you that even before this, there was news of Kota Srinivas’s death, which he released a video on social media. Srinivasa Rao said that those who are spreading rumors should not play with anyone’s life. South actor Kota Srinivas, who became famous with Villain’s roles, starred in more than 700 films.
