A sad news has come out from the Punjabi film industry. Famous Punjabi actor and comedian Jaswinder Bhalla has passed away. He breathed his last at Fortis Hospital in Mohali on the morning of 22 August at the age of 65. On August 20, Jaswinder had a brain stroke, after which he was admitted to the hospital.

According to reports, Jaswinder’s health had worsened last night. After this, he died this morning. The last rites of Jaswinder Bhalla will be performed on the afternoon of August 23 at the crematorium in Baloungi, Mohali. There is a wave of mourning in the Punjabi industry due to the news of the comedian’s death.

Jaswinder Bhalla died on 4 May 1960 in Doraha, Ludhiana. Apart from his comic timing, he was also famous for acting. Jaswinder started his career as a comedian in 1988 as a comedian from ‘Chhankata 55’. At the same time, he had a film career ‘Dulla Bhatti’ movie.

Jaswinder Bhalla, who worked in films like Mera Dil Looteya, Power Cut, Atmosphere Ok, Jija Ji, Kabaddi Once Again and Apna Milage, besides Mel Kar Kar Karo, Carrie on Jatta, Carry on Jatta 3 and Jatt 3 and Juliet. Before appearing in films, Jaswinder Bhalla was a professor at Punjab Agriculture University.
