Famous film maker dies due to heart attack, Madhuri Dixit to Mithun Chakraborty

Parthao Ghosh, who gave many memorable films to Hindi cinema, died on Monday. At the age of 75, he said goodbye to the world. Partho Ghosh died due to a heart attack. He breathed his last on 9 June, Monday morning. In the 1990s and 2000s, he gave the audience a stories of suspense, emotions and social messages. He is especially known for his superhit films ‘100 Days’ and ‘Agni Sakshi’. Actress Rituparna Sengupta has shared information about her death. He said that his heart has been broken by the death of the Parths.

Career started in the 80s

Born on 8 June 1949 in Kolkata, West Bengal, Partho Ghosh’s childhood passed through art, literature and music. Just a day after his birthday, he said goodbye to the world. After celebrating his birthday last day, he bid farewell to the world this morning. His attachment to films brought him to Mumbai. He started his career in 1985 as an assistant director in Bengali cinema. He then turned to Hindi films and took over the reins of direction.

Real identity received from ‘100 days’

Partho Ghosh got a big identity for the first time from ‘100 Days’ in 1991. The suspense-thriller film starring Madhuri Dixit and Jackie Shroff was well appreciated by the audience and critics. The film was a Hindi remake of the Tamil film ‘Nurvathu Naal’. The success of this film gave him a strong place in Bollywood. He then composed a ‘song’ in 1992 with Divya Bharti and Avinash Wadhavan. But the big turn of his career came in 1993 when he made a ‘broker’ with Mithun Chakraborty and Ayesha Julka, which proved to be a big hit at the box office.

A big message was given from this film

In 1996, ‘Agni Sakshi’ established Partho Ghosh as a director making films on a sensitive and serious subjects. The story of the film, starring Nana Patekar, Jackie Shroff and Manisha Koirala, was focused on an issue like domestic violence and was well liked by the audience. In his career, he directed more than 15 films, including thriller, romance and diversity of social subjects. His last film was ‘Mausam Iqrar Ke, Do Pal Pyaar Ke’, released in 2018.

Partho Ghosh was also appreciated for his contribution. His film ‘Agni Sakshi’ received enrollment in the category of Best Director at the Filmfare Awards.
