Fish Venkat dies at the age of 53
Fish Venkat, known for his unique Telangana accents and excellent comic timing, died on July 18, 2025, whose real name was Venkat Raj. The actor was undergoing kidney treatment for several months. His dialysis was going on and recently he was placed on a ventilator due to his body being weak. Venkat needed a kidney transplant, for which he got financial help from Pawan Kalyan and World Cen. However, the matching donor could not be found and he died due to kidney failure. He was known for his acting in ‘Gabbar Singh’ and ‘DJ Tillu’. Fish Venkat was also famous in the film industry for his comedy role.
Actor dies due to financial constraints
Fish Venkat passed away due to a kidney failure in a hospital in Hyderabad. The doctors advised him for a kidney transplant. However, due to financial constraints, the actor’s family could not afford his medical treatment. Venkat’s condition continued to deteriorate and finally he lost the battle with life. According to a Gulte report, Venkat was struggling with the problem of kidney and liver serious and his health deteriorated rapidly in the last few weeks. As the matter became serious, the family was looking for financial help for proper medical care. His daughter Shravathi appealed and said that he is looking for financial assistance of Rs 50 lakh for the kidney transplant required for his life.
Villain and Comedian became Raj
In more than two decades of long career, he was known for his comic and supporting roles and often appeared in Telangana -language films. Born in Machilipatnam in Andhra Pradesh in 1971, Fish Venkat started his acting with the 2000 film ‘Samakka Sarakka’. He played most of the negative roles on the screen and then later made a comedian in some films and laughed the audience a lot. He made his mark among the people with great films like ‘Gabbar Singh’, ‘Adhri’, ‘DJ Tillu’.
