According to reports, a small commercial jet crashed at the London South & Airport at 4:00 pm on Sunday evening, causing black smoke to be seen in the sky and caused panic among the passengers. People saw a ‘huge fire ball’ at the scene, from which black smoke was coming out. The aircraft has been identified as B22 Super King Air, which was to fly to Lelisad, Netherlands. According to flight data from flight -radar, the plane crashed shortly after flying from the runway. At the moment it is not clear how many people were riding in the aircraft at the time of the incident.
Fire broke after explosion
People near the airport said that after a severe explosion, a fierce fire broke out and a black bubble of smoke appeared. The video of this incident is going viral on social media. In a statement given by Sky News, Essex Police said: “We were reported to have a 12-meter-long aircraft collision shortly before 4 pm … We are working closely with all emergency services at the scene, and the work will continue for many hours.”
Local MP David Burton-Sampson, who represented South & West and Leh, posted through social media, expressing concern over the incident, “I am aware of the incident at South & Airport. Please stay away and let the emergency services do their work. My condolences are with all the people concerned.”

So far, there has been no official confirmation about casualties or causes of accidents. Investigation is on. Officials said, “We are currently working closely with all emergency services at the scene, and the operation is expected to continue for several hours.” We request the public to stay away from that area during this important work. Rachford Hundred Golf Club and WestClif Rugby Club, due to closeness from the accident site, have been evacuated by both.
