Islamabad: There has been a tragic road accident in Pakistan. At least 9 people died and more than 30 people were injured in this bus accident on Sunday. Officials have given information about this accident. The accident happened when the bus was going from Islamabad to Lahore. The bus fell into a ditch near Balaksar in Chakwal district of Punjab province. There were more than 40 passengers in the vehicle.
Accident caused by this
According to a spokesperson for the Chakwal emergency services, the driver lost control after a tire of the bus burst, causing the vehicle to overturn and fell into the ditch. Dr Saeed Akhtar, Chief Executive Officer of Chakwal District Health Authority (DHA), said in a statement, “9 people died and 30 others were injured in the accident.” 8 passengers died on the spot, while one died in the hospital. The dead are among the dead. The injured have also been admitted to the government hospital in Chakwal.
CM Maryam Nawaz expressed grief
A spokesman for the Emergency Rescue Services said that the dead included women and children. Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz, the Chief Minister of Pakistan’s Punjab province, has expressed grief over the death of people in the accident.
