London: The administration has canceled train services due to the rare summer storm ‘Floris’ in Scotland, the parks have been closed and people have been advised to be vigilant in homes. The UK Meteorological Department has issued a ‘amber’ level warning for Scotland, which means that life and property may be threatened by strong winds and heavy rains, especially in coastal areas where large waves may arise.

According to the Meteorological Department, the wind speed can reach 137 km per hour due to the storm. This storm has come at a time when there is a huge crowd of tourists in Scotland. Thousands of people are participating in the world famous ‘Edinbara Fringe Festival’ and other cultural events released in the capital Edinburgh. One of the major tourist attractions of the city, the ‘Edinbara Military Tattoo’ has canceled the performance of the bagpipers and drumists at Edinbara Castle on Monday. Several train services and some boating services have been canceled in Scotland.

According to the Meteorological Department, the storm can also affect northern Ireland, Wales and parts of northern England.
