Two Dhansu films are going to fight in the month of July. In one film, superstar Ajay Devgan is seen and the other will be seen in the new pair of Siddharth Malhotra and Jahnavi. Ajay Devgan has officially announced the release date of his much awaited film ‘Son of Sardar 2’. The film will knock in theaters on July 25, on the same day when Siddharth Malhotra and Jahnavi Kapoor starrer ‘Param Sundari’ is also going to be released. In such a situation, there will be a strong fight at the box office between Ajay and Siddharth this July.
Param Sundari’s release date
‘Param Sundari’ is produced by Madock Films and directed by Tushar Jalota. This is a love story of North-South India, in which the pair of Siddharth and Jahnavi will be seen together for the first time. The film is releasing in theaters on 25 July. Its teaser was recently launched, which received a good response from the audience. Especially the song sung in the voice of Sonu Nigam made the teaser more special.
Son of Sardar 2’s first look and release date
Ajay Devgan has shared the first poster of his upcoming film ‘Son of Sardar 2’ on Instagram. In the poster, he has been seen adopting the looks of the first film of 2012. He wrote in the caption with the poster, ‘The Return of the Sardar #SOS2 in theaters near you on 25 July.’ The film is directed by Vijay Kumar Arora and will be seen in the lead role along with Ajay Devgan. Its producers are Ajay Devgan, Jyoti Deshpande, N.R. Pachisia, Praveen Talreja and Fox Star Studios.
Memories of ‘Son of Sardar’
The ‘Son of Sardar’, released in 2012, was directed by Ashwini Dhir. In this film, stars like Sonakshi Sinha, Sanjay Dutt and Juhi Chawla were also seen in this film. The film was a Hindi remake of the 2010 Telugu hit ‘Maryada Ramanna’. Even though it was competed with Yash Raj Films’s Shah Rukh Khan starrer ‘Jab Tak Hai Jaan’, ‘Son of Sardar’ earned a great domestic and internationally and made a global collection of Rs 161.48 crore (19 million USD). While the film was praised for its action, comedy and star cast, some critics told its story average.
