Berlin: The fireworks turned into a disaster at a fair held in the western city of Daseldorf, the western city of Germany, when 19 people were scorched when it was hit. The injured have been admitted to the hospital. German officials said that four of these people were severely scorched.

The incident occurred on the banks of Rhine River

The incident took place on the banks of the Rhine River, where the Rignaqirmis program was being held. Meanwhile, the incident happened late on Friday night. After this, firefighters and emergency services were deployed. In the pictures obtained from the scene here, fireworks were seen at the ground level on the banks of the river. According to the news of the DPA news agency, a child was also severely scorched. Daseldorf Fire Service said that the police is investigating the cause of the accident. Various programs are being organized at the 10 -day fair organized on the banks of Rhine River.

This incident happened

According to local officials and police, in the crowded area, suddenly a fireworks ball fell from the direction and fell on the ground and exploded among the people standing nearby. After this explosion, there was chaos on the spot. Children and elderly are also among the scorched people. The injured have been admitted to nearby hospitals and some were sent to large medical centers with the help of helicopter. Emergency services immediately took up the front and the program was canceled in the middle. Fire brigade, police and ambulance services reached the spot and started relief work.


German Chancellor expresses concern

The local administration has started investigating the incident and efforts are being made to find out whether the security protocol was followed. According to preliminary reports, either the fireworks equipment had a technical fault or was incorrectly operated.
