There was chaos after firing at Miniapolis Catholic School.

Miniapolis: Panic has spread due to firing on Wednesday at a Catholic school in Miniapolis. According to international media reports, at least 2 children died, while more than 20 are said to be injured. Investigating officers have been on the spot since the incident.

Governor Tim Walz described the incident as “fierce” and said that this first week of school for children and teachers has been affected by the horrific incident. He wrote on the social media platform x, “I am praying for our children and teachers, whose first week of school was tarnished by this fierce violence.”

Caught the attacker

The Miniapolis Municipal Administration said that the attacker has been controlled “under control after firing at the Announcement Catholic School. There is no” active threat “for the residents. Pediatric Trauma Hospital Children’s Minnesota said that many children have been admitted for treatment. Henpin Healthcare has also confirmed the treatment of the people injured in the firing.

Investigation agencies on the spot

Soon after the incident, police, FBI, other federal agencies and ambulances reached the spot. Meanwhile, President Donald Trump said in a post on Truth Social Al that he has been informed about this “tragic firing” and is monitoring the white house situation. The school was immediately evacuated, and the families of the students were sent to the “reunion area” so that they could meet their children.

School is 102 years old

Established in 1923, this school provides education from Pre-K to VIII. According to the school website, a mass prayer meeting (month) was held at 8:15 am on Wednesday. Monday was the first day of school. In the recent school social media posts, the children were seen smiling, showing art projects and playing together in the joy of returning to school. During a Democratic meeting at Miniapolis, Democratic National Committee Chairman Kane Martin referred to the firing and said that the number of victims is not clear.


Many American colleges were threatened

Wednesday’s school firing took place at a time when false information of firing was given on several college premises in the US through fake calls. In these calls, sometimes the sounds of firing were heard in the background, causing panic among the students and universities started sending messages like “running, hide, fighting”.
