The first look of Tamil superstar Kamal Haasan’s upcoming film Thug Life directed by Mani Ratnam was released today on his 70th birthday. It was a special treat for Kamal Haasan’s fans as the makers released the teaser of the much-awaited first look of the film.
Raj Kamal Film Productions, which is producing Thug Life directed by Mani Ratnam, tweeted the poster and wrote: “Pioneer, trailblazer, mentor – words fail to capture your impact on Indian cinema and society.

Thug Life is a gangster drama directed by Mani Ratnam and co-produced by Raj Kamal Films International and Madras Talkies.
Apart from Kamal Haasan, the film also stars Jayam Ravi, Trisha, Abhirami, Ali Fazal and Nassar. The music in the film has been given by none other than AR Rahman.
The title of Kamal Haasan’s film was revealed on his 69th birthday and now the poster has been revealed on his 70th birthday.
Kamal Haasan is reuniting with ace director Mani Ratnam after a gap of 37 years, the two had earlier worked in the iconic film Nayakan.
Nayakan was released in 1987 and is considered one of Kamal Haasan’s finest works.
Kamal Haasan was last seen as the Supreme Yakshin in the blockbuster hit ‘Kalki 2898 AD’ alongside Amitabh Bachchan, Prabhas, Deepika Padukone. He will also reprise his role in the sequel.
