Flood in Song River due to cloudburst in Dehradun: 26 including MP-Rajasthan
The Meteorological Department (IMD) has today issued a warning of rain with thunderstorms in 26 states of the country including Madhya Pradesh-Uttar Pradesh. In the western part of Rajasthan, the Orange Alert of thunderstorms and Yellow alert in Eastern have been issued.
IMD has also issued a warning of hail falling in UP-Bihar. At the same time, there will be strong rains in some parts of South India and the northeastern states, but the maximum temperature is unlikely to fall further. According to the Meteorological Department, the weather is expected to remain the same in Central and North India till 7-8 May.
On the other hand, a 5 -year -old girl died due to lightning in Jaipur on Sunday. Waterlogging occurred due to heavy rains in Sikar. Hail fell with heavy rains in 10 districts of UP. Madhya Pradesh received heavy rains with thunderstorms, a mobile tower fell in Chhatarpur. Hail fell with heavy rains in Bhopal, Indore, Ujjain, Dewas and Khandwa.
Here, in Dehradun, Uttarakhand, there was a flood in the Song River due to cloudburst. During this time many tourists got trapped. However, all were evacuated safely. At the same time, the road remained closed for some time after coming to Malwa on the road near Rishikesh on Chardham Yatra route.
