Flood -like conditions due to rain in Surat, school closed

Gujarat has been raining heavily for the last 2 days. Surat has recorded 10 inches of rain in 24 hours. Flood -like situation has been created in many areas of the city. Most of the roads are flooded. City schools have also been closed.

Due to continuous rains, there has been waterlogging in two state highways. The 4-5 housing society is flooded. Water has entered people’s homes in low -lying areas like Poona Parvat Gam, Varachha, Kapodara, Katargam, Ved Road and Jahangir Pura.

Here, the southwest monsoon also entered Haryana on Tuesday. With this, the monsoon has reached every state except Delhi. On May 24, i.e. 8 days before the due date, the monsoon knocked in Kerala.

The monsoon usually arrives in Delhi by 30 June. Monsoon entry remains in Rajasthan, Haryana, Punjab and some districts of UP. The monsoon usually reaches Pokhran in western Rajasthan by 8 July.

The 50 -year record of rain in Uttar Pradesh in June has broken. The average rainfall between 1971 and 2020 has rained 25% more this year. This year the state received an average rainfall of 66.9 mm between June 1 to June 23, while the estimate was 53.7 mm.

Nine scissors in Uttarakhand and land slide in Badrinath, 3 killed

With the arrival of monsoon in Uttarakhand, the round of natural disasters has also started. A landslide occurred near the nine scissors band on the Yamunotri walking route, about half a dozen passengers were buried. 2 bodies have been recovered from the debris. Relief and rescue work continues.

A woman passenger died on the spot after a big stone fell from the hill on the car of a devotee of Haryana returning from Badrinath. A large quantity of debris entered the shops in the rainy drain on the Kedarnath walking road. About half a dozen shops have suffered damage.
