A flyover slab slipped from its place in Hosur, Tamil Nadu. This led to a jam of about three km long on the road. Vehicles have been asked to use the service road.

The flyover is built on the Bengaluru-Chennai National Highway and is just 40 km from Bangalore, the capital of Karnataka. Vehicles going to Bangalore were stopped on flyover for security reasons.

Police said that a panel of experts will investigate the Hosur flyover today.

Redigation will be 90 degrees Bridge of Bhopal
Recently, a railway over bridge in Bhopal, the capital of Madhya Pradesh, was in the headlines due to strange design. This bridge is twisted with an angle of 90 degrees. Because of this, there will be a danger of collision with the wall of the bridge of vehicles or among themselves.

Structure engineer Dr. Shailendra Bagre had measured the angle and told that it is 88 degrees. There is a possibility of falling down from the bridge on this angle. In the case, the state’s PWD Minister Rakesh Singh ordered an inquiry from the National Highway Authority of India (NHAI).

NHAI, in its report, suggested not to drive on the bridge at a speed of more than 35-40 km per hour. There is a risk of accident if there is higher speed. In such a situation, it has been decided to redesign the bridge.
The work of flyover being built at a cost of Rs 74 crore in Lucknow, the capital of Uttar Pradesh, has stopped for eight months. The reason for this is a house, which is in front of the bridge. Whenever there is a grudge regarding its construction, Lucknow Development Authority (LDA) pastes the notice on the house.
