Purnia. Former Purnia MP Santosh Kushwaha participated in the Chhath Puja being held at various places in the city. He went to Chhath Ghat being held at places like Purnia City Rambagh, Pakki Talab, Polytechnic, Gulab Bagh, Madhubani etc. Many JDU leaders were also with him. He went to the Chhath fast and offered Arghya to the setting sun. On this occasion, he said that by offering Arghya to Lord Bhaskar, I have prayed for happiness for the entire Purnia family including my family. Chhath Puja is a great and pure puja performed naturally. Those fasting for Chhath Puja perform this puja by remaining hungry continuously with a clean mind. This puja gives immense religious strength and mental strength. This is the most powerful festival of Bihar.
