Fought 3 enemies in Operation Sindoor: Deputy Army Chief
Deputy Chief of Army Staff Lieutenant General Rahul R Singh said on Friday that during Operation Sindoor, the border was one and three enemies. Pakistan was on the front. China and Turkas were providing weapons and other support.
He said, China gave weapons to Pakistan and used us as a lab for arms testing. China was sharing live updates of our every strategic move with Pakistan. The Turkas gave other drones including the barractor. They were also used against us.
Lieutenant General Rahul R Singh said this at FICCI’s ‘New Age Military Technologies’ event in New Delhi. He told that Operation Sindoor taught us many important lessons. This was a conflict that exposed the difficulties of Modern Warfare. So now we need a more strong air defense.
Lieutenant General said- Could not tolerate pain like previous wars
The message of leadership was clear. The way we tolerated a few years ago, there was no scope to bear the pain. Target’s planning and selection was based on a lot of data. Hence a total of 21 targets were identified, out of which it was understood to target 9. It was decided to target these nine goals on the last moment.
The entire operation during the vermilion was very important. This time, our population center was not paid attention, but next time, we have to be ready for it. And for this, more and more air defense systems, counter-counter-artillery drones will have to be prepared. We have to move forward very fast.
We are looking at Israel. They have iron domes. There are other air defense systems. We do not have the same facilities because our country is huge. And such things cost a lot of money. Therefore, we need to focus on our preparation and security again.
