The couple told that he had been cheated by a friend of his, who blew up his whole life. Pooja Banerjee and Kunal Verma were yet to come out of the shock that now a filmmaker has made some serious allegations against them. A Bengali filmmaker has accused Pooja Banerjee and her husband Kunal Verma of kidnapping, assault and forced recovery and has also filed a complaint with the Goa Police.
Filmmaker lodged a complaint against Pooja-Kunal
Bengali filmmaker Sundar Shyam Dey says that Pooja and Kunal kidnapped her in Goa, kept them imprisoned in a villa and then recovered millions of rupees from them. Not only this, the filmmaker’s wife Malbika has also lodged a complaint against Pooja and Kunal in the Goa Police. These allegations against both of them have surprised their fans.

In a statement to the Times of India, Shyam Sundar Dey claimed that he had gone for a holiday in Goa, during which one day his car was surrounded by a Black Jaguar on the road. Two people came out of this car and also asked to come out of the car. Initially, he refused to come out, but then he saw Pooja Banerjee there. According to Day, he considered Pooja Banerjee as his sister. Seeing them, his fear came down and he came out of the car. After which he was kidnapped. Dey believes that this whole matter must have been recorded in CCTV there.

Shyam Sundar Dey claimed that Pooja and Kunal made her sit in their car and then took him to Amber Villa in Goa. The couple forcibly imprisoned him in that villa from 1 to 4 June and did not let him get out of the villa. Dey said that he kept explaining Pooja every day, whom he considered his sister. He also cited him the family, but he received threats instead. Not only this, Dey has also accused Kunal Verma of assaulting him with some unknown people. He says that all this was happening in front of Pooja and he did not raise his voice against it nor supported him.

Dey also told that both of them had taken away their mobile from them, which they could not even contact their family. However, he had given a phone to him, so that he could arrange for money. Day claims that during this time, some property papers were also pressurized to sign him, after which he realized that the matter had now gone out of hand.
