G7 Summit: PM Modi said thanks for support in the fight against terrorism

G7 summit: Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who arrived in Kananaskis to attend the G7 summit, was welcomed by Canada’s PM Mark Carney. This summit is taking place at a time when the war between Russia-Ukraine on one side in the world is going on, on the other hand there is a war between Israel and Iran. PM Modi has met leaders from South Korea, Mexico, South Africa, Australia and France, on the sidelines of the G7 summit in Canada, Canada.
Mexico is with India against terror
PM Modi, who arrived at the G7 summit, has met Mexican President Claudia Shinbam in Kananaskis, Alberta. During the meeting, PM Modi thanked President Shinbam for the support given by Mexico in India’s fight against terrorism and also invited him to come to India.
Discussion on important issues
PM Modi shared the outlooks on major global and regional issues, including the priorities of ‘Global South’, during talks with President Claudia Shinbam of Mexico. This was the first meeting between the two leaders.

The Prime Minister also met his Australian counterpart Anthony Albanese. Modi posted on ‘X’, “It was nice to meet his friend Prime Minister Albanese of Australia during the G7 Summit in Canada.” Sharing a picture of his conversation with South African President Cyril Ramfosa on ‘X’, Modi said that he was happy to talk to Ramposa.
