Sourav Ganguly on Gautam Gambhir Decision: Kuldeep Yadav was excluded from India’s playing XI in the fifth Test match being played between India and England. Kuldeep did not get a chance to play a single Test match of Anderson-Tendulkar Trophy 2025. Now after keeping Kuldeep out of the playing XI from the fifth Test, former captain Sourav Ganguly has questioned the decision of team management and especially head coach Gautam Gambhir.

Let us know that the fifth Test match being played between India and England is being played at The Oval Cricket Ground in London from 31 July. Three changes have been made in India’s playing XI for this test. But Kuldeep Yadav was not included in the team.

Sourv Ganguly’s statement on Gambhir’s decision

Talking to India Today, Sourav Ganguly said, “It is beyond comprehension to ignore a spinner like Kuldeep Yadav. He is the bowler to win the match and India will need them in the future. He should also have been fed on grounds like Manchester, Lords and Birmingham.”

Sourav Ganguly gave an example of England’s weakness, saying that when India was batting, England had no classic spinner and could not take wickets. He said, “Without spin, it is difficult to dismiss the opposition team on the fifth day. India should trust bowlers like Kuldeep.”
