‘Gill missed the opportunity to earn respect …’ This Indian veteran publicly insulted Shubman, on what?
Shubman Gill Missed Chance to Earn Respect: Indian captain Shubman Gill decided to drop the middle order batsman Karun Nair in the fourth Test against England at Old Trafford, Manchester. For former Team India batsman Mohammad Kaif did not look happy with this decision of Gill.
Caif believed the Indian captain publicly ‘insulted’. Kaif said that Gill missed the opportunity to earn ‘honor’. Apart from this, he did not consider Gill to be a good captain for this decision. Kaif believed that captain Gill should have also backed Karun Nair for the fourth Test.
Mohammad Kaif raging badly on Shubman Gill
Mohammad Kaif wrote on the social media platform X, “Today Shubman Gill had a chance to back to Karun who was down but entitled to another occasion. He should have chosen Karun Nair. When the time came to make difficult decisions as a leader, he missed the opportunity to earn respect.”
Today was Shubman Gill’s Chance to Back Karun Who was down but deserved one more chance. He should have picked karun nair. Chance missed to earn the respect when it comes to making tough decisions as a leader.

Karun Nair flopped in all three Tests
Let us know that Karun Nair was given a chance in the playing XI of the first three Tests of the Test series against England, in which he batted in 6 innings. However, not a single half -century came out of Nair’s bat. In 6 innings of the first three Tests, Karun Nair scored 00, 20, 31, 26, 40 and 41 runs respectively.
Return was returned after about 8 years
It is worth noting that Nair returned to the Indian Test team after about 8 years. However, he could not redeem this opportunity. Now it will be interesting to see when Nair now gets a chance in Team India again.
