Glenn Maxwell Records: Australia star all -rounder Glenn Maxwell showed amazing with both bat and fielding in the third T20 against South Africa. He touched two big records of David Warner and surpassed Surya in T20 in terms of sixes. This double blast made Maxwell the hero of the match and gave Australia a 2–1 series.

Australia’s 36 -year -old Dhurandhar all -rounder Glenn Maxwell performed in the third T20 International played at the Caizelis Stadium in Cairns on Saturday (August 16), which forced the Australian fans to dance. At first he equaled David Warner’s outfield catch record on the basis of a great fielding. Dewald Brevis’s stormy innings (53 runs, 26 balls) ended with a wonderful catch of Maxwell. This was his 62nd outfield catch and with this he has come first with Warner in terms of taking the highest outfield catch in T20 for Australia.

Not only this, Maxwell was given the Player of the Match for this match winning performance, which was his 12th Player of the Match Award. Maxwell left David Warner (12 Player of the Match Award) behind in terms of winning the highest player of the match award match in T20 for Australia.

But the story did not end here. Chasing the target of 173 runs, Australia was in crisis at 122/6, when Maxwell also showed amazing with the bat. He scored an unbeaten 62 off 36 balls and won the team in difficult circumstances. When 10 runs were needed in the last over, Maxwell first doubled, then hit a four and then finished the match with reverse scoop.

During this innings, he hit 2 sixes and along with this, overtook India’s T20 captain Suryakumar Yadav (146) and completed his total 148 sixes in T20. Now he is at number 6 in the all-time list in terms of hitting the most sixes in T20.
