Gmr airports Has started operating a duty-free shop (Custom Shop) at Indira Gandhi International Airport in Delhi. Indira Gandhi International Airport (IGI) of the national capital is the largest airport in the country. It is operated by the GMR Group -led alliance Delhi International Airport Limited (DIAL). GMR Airports said in the information to the stock market on Monday, “The company has started operating duty-free shops at Indira Gandhi International Airport (New Delhi) from late 12 pm on July 28, 2025.”

Expected to get more profit in high-profit non-standard trading

The company is expected to get more profit in the duty-free shops (custom shops), especially in high-profit non-standard trade. Earlier, another unit was operating these shops. GMR Airports emerged as a bidder selected for the development, operation, management and maintenance of duty-free operation in August last year. It also operates the custom shop at Hyderabad, Goa and Kannur Airport.

Company shares closed with a decline on Monday

GMR Airports shares closed down on Monday. Today, the company’s shares on BSE closed at Rs 89.66 with a decline of Rs 0.24 (0.27%). Today, during the business, the company’s shares reached Intrade High of Rs 91.59 to Intrade Low of Rs 89.13. The company’s shares on BSE are 52 weeks high 103.70 and 52 weeks are Rs 67.75. According to BSE data, the current market cap of GMR Airports is Rs 94,671.78 crore.
