Panaji: Goa Chief Minister Pramod Sawant praised Mondelez International for organizing a full-day workshop aimed at improving waste management practices in Mapusa. The initiative, which focuses on the segregation and treatment of solid waste, was launched in collaboration with the Mapusa Municipal Corporation.
“I congratulate Mondelez International for this initiative. Various projects are being implemented for solid waste management, but this stands out as one of the best, undertaken by our pollution control board with the support of the Mapusa municipal corporation,” said Sawant.
The CM’s endorsement of the program highlights the state’s ongoing efforts to enhance waste management systems and address environmental concerns.
