real estate company Godrej Properties is planning to start housing projects worth Rs 40,000 crore in the current financial year (2025-26). The company aims to increase its market share and maintain its position as the top listed real estate company in terms of sales booking. Perozasha Godrej, executive chairperson of Godrej Properties, said that despite global economic uncertainties, the demand for houses remains strong. He cited the company’s performance in the last financial year (2024–25), with a record sales booking of Rs 29,444 crore, the highest among the listed companies.

Will continue to invest in land acquisition and development works

Godrej said, “Therefore, overall, I am very happy with the company’s performance in the last financial year and I think it is important to maintain this speed in the current financial year.” He said that the company will continue to invest in land acquisition and development works to expand its business and increase market share. He said, “We raised Rs 6000 crore through QIP (eligible institutional planning) in October last year. Operating cash flow of Rs 7500 crore with Rs 6000 crore makes a good fund to ensure further investment and maintain such a strong growth rate.”

Good list of projects near Godrej Properties

Talking about the target of FY 2025-26, he said, “We have estimated a sale booking price of Rs 32,500 crore for the current financial year, which is 20 percent more than our estimate of last year and the actual targets we have given is 10 percent more than the actual targets. He said, “We have a good list of projects. We have targeted for projects worth Rs 40,000 crore. There is good visibility throughout the region.”
