On Tuesday, gold and silver prices were seen in the national capital Delhi. Despite the strength in the international market, gold prices have fallen by ₹ 500 here. Giving information, the All India Bullion Association said that the price of gold with 99.9 percent purity on Tuesday came down to ₹ 1,00,420 per 10 grams, while in the last trading session it was closed at ₹ 1,00,920 per 10 grams. According to PTI news, gold with 99.5 percent purity, including all taxes, fell by ₹ 450 to ₹ 1,00,050 per 10 grams. It closed at ₹ 1,00,500 per 10 grams on Monday.
There is also a big fall in silver
On Tuesday, there was a decline in silver prices in Delhi. Silver fell ₹ 1,000 to ₹ 1,14,000 per kg (including all taxes) on August 19. On Monday it was ₹ 1,15,000 per kg.

Spot Gold was trading at New York by 0.15% to USD at 3,337.92 an ounce. Spot silver also rose 0.19% to USD 38.09 per ounce. Augmont’s research head Renisha Chanani said that gold prices came below US $ 3,380 an ounce as investors are now eyeing the upcoming comments of Jerome Powell, chairman of American Dazel Reserve and the statement made in the Jackson Hole System.
Senior analyst of HDFC Securities Soumil Gandhi said that the announcement of US housing market data (building permits and housing starts) may cause dollars and gold prices fluctuate.
