Why the price of gold is falling

Gold continued to decline even today due to softening in international markets. The price of gold in international markets today was around $ 3290 an ounce. Jatin Trivedi, a research analyst (commodity and currency) of LKP Securities, said, “This decline in gold has come amid pressure to find no indications of the US Federal Reserve continuously aggressive stance and no indication of interest rates in the near future. This has weakened the market notion of bullion for safe investment. ”

Strong improvement in US dollar

Soumil Gandhi, Senior Analyst (Commodity) of HDFC Securities, said, “Globally gold rose 0.12 percent to $ 3294.31 an ounce. Soumil Gandhi said, “Gold remained a negative trend on the last business day of the week and it closed down on a weekly basis. This decline is due to decrease in demand as an alternative to safe investment and strong improvement in US dollar, which has so far increased by more than 2 percent to 9 weeks high. ”Silver spotted in New York fell 0.75 percent to $ 36.44 an ounce.
