Delhi bullion market: On Thursday, the price of gold increased by Rs 200 to Rs 98,650 per 10 grams (including all taxes) in the bullion market of the national capital due to increasing demand for jewelery vendors and stockists. Silver prices in local markets also rose by Rs 2,040 to an important level of Rs 1 lakh per kg and reached Rs 1,01,200 per kg (including all taxes).
The All India Bullion Association gave this information. On Thursday, gold with 99.5 percent purity increased by Rs 200 to Rs 98,200 per 10 grams (including all taxes). At the same time, silver prices in local markets rose by Rs 2,040 to Rs 1 lakh per kg on Thursday to reach Rs 1,01,200 per kg (including all taxes). Strong global trends and increasing stress in West Asia also supported local prices.

Chintan Mehta, Chief Executive Officer of Abance Financial Services, said, “Gold prices continued to rise due to new concerns about economic stability. Meanwhile, gold spotted in international markets fell 0.50 percent to US $ 3,298.69 an ounce.
The US Dollar index made a positive business in gold prices due to rapid fall and new concerns over US debt. Jatin Trivedi, vice-president (research analyst Jens and Mudras) in LKP Securities, said, weak dollars and ongoing global geopolitical uncertainties have maintained investors’ interest in gold as a safe-property.

Senior analyst of commodities of HDFC Securities, Soumil Gandhi said that gold continued on Thursday due to the demand for a safe-property between the US and China. This reduced investors’ interest for risky assets and increased demand for safe property. (Language)
