Phd Fellowship News: Indraprastha Information Technology Institute Delhi (IIIT DELHI) has increased its PhD ‘Fellowship’ from Rs 37000 to Rs 60000 per month. This information was given in a statement on Monday. The statement said that the move aims to attract top -level research talents and strengthen India’s innovation ecosystem. Along with the increase in fellowship, other financial incentives will also be given. The institute is committed to furthering more effective research.
It said, along with the increase in fellowship, other financial incentives will also be given including annual research probability grant of Rs 20,000, a lump sum grant of Rs 50 thousand for laptops and Rs 2.5 lakh for participation in international conferences and workshops.

In addition, PhD researchers will get up to Rs 1.5 lakh for research trips on international. IIIT-Delhi director Ranjan Bose emphasized that the institute is committed to pursue more effective research. (Language)
