In the video, Mitchell Starc and Nathan Lion were also seen bowling in the nets. All these players are preparing for the World Test Championship (WTC) 2025 final, which will be played after the IPL final. Hazelwood will complete the rehab in Brisbane for a week before coming to India and then decide whether they have to be available for RCB.
Currently, RCB is second in 12 matches in the points table with 17 points and is moving towards confirming its place in Top-2. At the same time, the team does not have foreign fast bowler Lungi Angidi for the playoffs, so Blessing Mujbani has been included as their replacement.
The presence of Hazelwood may lead to RCB’s bowling attack. If the team reaches the final, Hazelwood will have to stay in India till 3 June. The WTC final will be played from June 11, so he can directly join the Australian team after the IPL is over.
