Asia Cup 2025: Indian fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah will be available for selection in the Asia Cup to be held in Dubai. Bumrah spoke to the selectors a few days ago and told him about his readiness to play.

The source associated with the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) said in a conversation with the Indian Express, “Bumrah has informed the selectors that he will be available for selection in the Asia Cup. The selection committee will meet next week and discuss it.”
Let us know that Bumrah was released from the Indian team before the fifth and last Test match of Anderson-Tendulkar Trophy against England, due to workload management. Bumrah played Test matches in Handingley, Lords and Manchester in the series. In the series, he took 14 wickets while bowling 119.4 overs.
The Asia Cup is to be played in the T20 format, Bumrah will not have to do long and the team can choose the match for them according to their own. There is a difference of 40 days till the start of its last Test and Asia Cup played against England.
Bumrah played the final match against South Africa in the last T20 International Match 2024 T20 World Cup. In that match, Bumrah took 2 wickets for 18 runs.
