Especially in the meeting, the proposal to amend the Aided College Teacher Transfer Rules 2024 and Uttar Pradesh Retirement Benefits Rules 1961 was also approved.
The proposal for new transfer rules for teachers working in degree colleges aided by the state government was approved. With this decision, thousands of teachers will be able to get adjustment near their place of residence. After the implementation of this rule, teachers will get the opportunity to return to their home district. Especially women and disabled people will be able to benefit from it. Giving information about the decisions of the cabinet, Finance Minister Suresh Khanna and Jal Shakti Minister Swatantra Dev said that under the Aided College Teacher Transfer Rules 2024, the minimum posting in the college has been reduced from 5 years to 3 years. Under this, the teachers of aided degree colleges. And instead of minimum service of 5 years, they will be able to get transfer only after 3 years. Teachers will be entitled for transfer only once in their entire service period.
Rules regarding gratuity also changed
The proposal to amend the Uttar Pradesh Retirement Benefit Rules 1961 for retired state employees has been approved. Under this, if an employee dies while in service or after retirement without receiving the gratuity amount. And he left no family behind.
Nor has any nominee been made, then in such a situation gratuity can be paid to that person. In whose favor the succession certificate has been granted by the court. Earlier his gratuity money was absorbed by the government. That means it went into the government treasury.
