Google’s difficulty increased

Recently, the tech company had to face defeat in the trial of Google and EPIC Games. Now the company will have to pay crores of fine once again. Apart from this, Google’s video platform YouTube has also been banned for youths under 16 years of age.

Google is alleged to have given the users a pre-installed Google search engine in Android devices by partnering two big telecom companies of Australia, Telstra and Optus, due to which they were unable to use any other search engine. The Australian Competition Committee (ACC) ordered Google to abolish the deal and asked to fill a fine of $ 55 million.

The company made a big statement

The Australian Competition Committee and Google together told the Federal Court that the company has accepted the fine. A Google spokesperson said that the company is happy to resolve the matter. We are also ready to make our Android device more flexible, so that users can get the option of pre-loaded search engine apps and browsers other than Google. We will provide our services to users at a lower price than Apple.

However, this is not the first time Google has to pay a fine of crores of rupees. Apart from Australia, in European countries, Google has been fined due to violation of anti -trust rules.
