Google brought new AI feature Beam, will be able to convert your video in 3D

Google has decided to rebrand its project Starline. Tech company has introduced a new 3D video communication platform at its Google I/O 2025 event. This AI based platform of Google will be known as Beam. Not only this, Google has decided to develop its AI Tool Gemini as an AI operating system. Many interactive features have been added to Google Gemini, including Gemini Live, Imagen 4, Veo3, Deep Research, Canvas etc.
What is Google Beam?
According to Google’s blog post, Beam is an AI driving platform, which can add 3D experience to a simple 2D video. In this, the picture is connected to different angles using different webcam eras. This tool can merge the video stream and render as a 3D light field display. Google says that this Yuul has head tracking capabilities, which is claimed to be accurate. This tool can render 3D video at 60 frames per second (FPS).
The Google Beam has an AI volumetric video model, which can give a realistic experience in 2D video streams, due to which it will get 3D -like experience. It has the ability to sensor the light field display, depth, eye contact and read subtal cues.
Tech company says that it will replace the new platform project Starline, which was previously introduced in Google I/O held in 2021. Google introduced this project to develop 3D videos on the natural scale. The company aims to develop a 3D video communication platform, which will now be known as Beam.
Google is working to integrate speech translation in this new platform in real time. This tool of Google will start meeting in Google Meet from today. Not only this, the company is working closely with HP to develop a device with Google Beam. This year this device will be available in the market. It is expected that it can be introduced in Infocomm 2025 to be held next month.
