Google Warning, Hackers can do scam through fake apps, learn how to avoid

Google has issued a warning regarding the new scam to be done through fake apps. Google’s Threat Intelligence Group has detected a new UNC6040 hackers group, which steals people’s data through fake business apps. This data is then used to make a dent in people’s bank accounts. According to the report, hackers are making a dent in Europe and American users’ accounts through fake salesforce app.
Let us know that Saleforce is a cloud business service, which handles the data of users of many big companies. According to Google’s Threat Team, the information of hacks users is used through fake salesforce data loader apps, then it is used for fraud. Not only this, hackers also resort to voice calls for this, so that the modified salesforce app can approve the setup page.
Google’s warning
Google has issued a warning to users to install such calls and fake apps. In his warning, Google’s Threat Team said that if an employee installs this app in his device, the hackers have access to many sensitive information related to salesfors. Hackers can also attack the cloud server as soon as they get a chance.
According to the report, hackers are now resorting to social engineering to steal personal information of people. First, people try to get information by calling them in their trap by calling them. Many people working in big tech companies get caught in the trap of hackers and come into their words and share important information.
Salesforce has also issued a warning to its customers regarding ‘Voice Fishing’ and ‘Vishing’ attacks. The company has warned of cyber attacks through fake data loaders in its March blog post.
How to avoid
