Google started the safety charter here to protect its customers from online fraud. Country manager of Google India, Preity Lobana, announced the introduction of a safety charter at the Sefer with Google India Summit here, saying that to develop India, we have to build and maintain confidence in the Internet and our digital infrastructure. He said that this initiative is to deal with online fraud, strengthen cyber security and promote the development of responsible artificial intelligence. This initiative of Google has been taken to make its ecosystem more secure in India.
There are three major pillars of the safety charter, the first users are to protect from online fraud, the second is to strengthen the enterprise and government cyber security and the third is to include the AI responsible in the platform design and signs. With this, Google has provided security to more than 17.7 crore Indians through its Digicwatch, for which the company has used the AI -operated system.

He said that through Google Play Protect, the company has blocked about six crore fraud apps, in addition to the help of Google Play, about 4.1 million scam transactions have been issued to alert. In the year 2024 itself, it has helped to stop fraud of about 13,000 crore rupees. Gmail is also blocked by millions of spam e-mails every month using the advanced AI system.
